Whose Turn Outreach
Getting Connected with the Whose Turn Gaming Community
One of the goals of Whose Turn has always been to maintain the feel of a friendly game day, regardless of how big we grow. That’s one of the reasons the attendees vote each year to maintain our invitational style. Unfortunately, that can present a challenge for some people who would like to attend. Perhaps you just moved to the area and don’t know anyone that could invite you. Perhaps you are from out of town, but would like to make the trip to attend. Or maybe you’re hesitant to commit to four days of board gaming without knowing anyone at the event.
It is because of situations like this that we’ve created the Whose Turn Outreach program. The goal of this program is to connect people with our wonderful gaming community.
There are two major components of this program, Opportunities and Ambassadors. Opportunities are things like game days, meetups, gaming stores and other opportunities for you to meet and join in the board gaming community. Ambassadors are people who are happy to meet up with you, answer your questions about opportunities, and be a friendly face you can count on meeting at an event.
Below you’ll find a list of Opportunities and Ambassadors based on location. If you don’t see anything listed near your location, please let us know. We love to help gamers find each other!
NOTE – Please be aware that, due to COVID-19 some of these groups may be meeting virtually or not at all. Please be sure to contact the group about their current meetings and any restrictions.
